Canuck-
I can really feel a definite difference with all the parts,I've been told just a higher compression piston will really give you an all over boost in power. You can't use just a cam,it needs the added compression to make up for the loss of low end you get with a hotter cam. Porting also is a big help, the Warrior (Wolverine is the same) head is a real bottle neck,it has a very large hump right in front of the valve that can be smoothed out and enlarged. That way you get more flow, which helps cool the cylinder (more compression, more heat)and makes the most of your cam's extra valve timing. .040 over isn't much for cc's, I would have liked to try a 365 kit or even bigger. Alba's 400 stroker kit is supposed to be awesome low to top end with loads of torque, but you are looking at 1200 bucks, and splitting the engine case for the crank and rod. Even with what I have now, spinning the 25" tires is easy, and I leave my son's 300 ex in the dust on the trails. With the lighter and manual clutched Warrior,it should be even more noticeable.
