Floor Board Problems on 02 Grizz?
#1
I don't see it. I have 1200 miles on my machince, have had it for 8 months and weigh 300 lbs. yet i have never had any problems with my floor boards cracking or sagging or anything. in fact i have not had any problems with the grizz. I take care of it but don't ride it like a puss either. Now don't get me wrong, i'm glad, i'm just wondering why i havn't had any problems.

I haven't had the prob on my grizz either. not sure why others do. I checked in with my local dealer and he did offer a solution if I do see it, but my thought is why mess with it if I don't have the prob.
I saw a post say that late year production in 2002 addressed the problem by changing the understructure of the floor boards, however I haven't been able to confirm it or see otherwise. I purchased mine in may of 2002.
I hope you and me both stay on this mode of not having it break!

One of the reasons might be is late model 02s have the same fix as the 03s. The way to tell is if you look under your floorboard the early models just have two pegs coming off the frame. The fixed ones have two pegs that are connected with a bar. I believe it is after vin. 027389 (last 6 digits)at least this is what I found in my research when looking to buy one.
