Well I've alway felt the the quad market wasn't up to par! think about it back it 99 when i bought my Banshee, it was the fastest production quad made with only a 350cc motor and dated suspension! And Sleds have 1000cc motors like the Thundercat with all kinds of suspension updates!
ZR900, F7 firecat! EFI I wish they would make a Quad the would have the snap and top end like a Sled! The biggest we get now is a 4 stroke 660 Raptor! now it would of nice if it was a 2 stroke 660 Raptor for starters and went from there! Im not bashing the Raptor they are nice, I just wish it was a 2 stroke instead with at least a 800cc motor.

Let's see....right now you can get a Raptor, Banshee, DS650, DS650 Baja, 4 different C-dales, Z400, Predator, and soon the Kawie & AC. In my opinion, the more sport quads, the better, but with so many sports now on the market, how much impact will a new Honda have? Had they brought out their new machine in 2000 or '01, it would have had definate impact. But maybe not even 2004? FUHGETTABOUTIT........

my99banshee,i was thinking the samething when first i saw the raptor when came out,if it was a 660 high performance 2 stroke weren't here talking how slow the sport quad market is,not bashing the raptor here, great performing quad, but the style and sex appeal of the machine
let me think to a 2 stroke engine instead of a 4 stroke,we only need 1 new high big performing 2 cycle to forget this 4 stroke trends and that will not happen in our modered and marketing system.

Your best bets are a huge 4 stroke or a turbo or supercharged one. Doubt youll see any of thee above any time soon. Expect them to keep sucking. If you dont like the engines they put in em grow some gonads and put ur own engine in there, go buy an r6 or r1 engine or something and drop it in. Ive heard the r1 engines murder the frames though. I bought an rd350 to swipe the engine but the bike was just too perfect so i couldnt bring myself to rip the engine.
