my dad bought a used 2002 Big Bear 400 4x4. it had 201 miles on it when he got it and now it has 205 miles (we havent had the chance to go riding yet). is the "break in" period over? the dealer we bought it from has already done the first service on it. thanks for the help.

The dealer usaulyy recomends a 10 hr break in period. At the mileage you state, you are past that point.

Break in period is usually 10 - 20hrs or 150 miles. Since it has gone through its initial service and you are at 205 miles, you should be good to go.

For peace of mind you might want to find out exactly what the dealer did. Don't call and ask go and ask for the actual service printout on the machine. If they serviced for real it'll take a minute to show you.
