Yes I was just curious and thought id ask all those out there whom has Warriors and that have made some mods? I have a 2000 Warrior and I am going to put Holeshot XCT's on it and put a SuperTrapp pipe on it? I was wondering how pleased you were with the results? I guess im looking to get some more pull off the bottom end but I dont want to take any of my top MPH's off it. With the bottom end power will I lost any of my top speed? (taking into consideration im not looking for more speed I just dont want to lose what I have) I ride with a wide variety of quads. I ride with mostly 4X4's and dont get me wrong I am 100% happy with my Wolverine but once and a while I like to break out the quicker Warrior. I ride with some Polaris 500 + 400 Sportsmans. A 500 Scrambler. A Grizzly, another Wolverine, and up until now I used to ride with some Banshee's well not really ride WITH them but behind them. But they got rid of those and now they have a Grizzly and a Sportsman too. I just wanna know where ill be standing as far as putting the throttle down in a long stretch as far as MPH goes....... Thanks for the info and help everyone! =- )

I run a Supertrapp on the end of a Curtis Sparks pipe on my Warrior, however my aim was just the opposite of yours. Therefore, I run it with 20 discs & a 15 teeth c/s sprocket for greater top end. To tune it for low end just run it with the discs that it comes with, or you can go to the minimum recommended which is four. In any case, it should flow better than the stock pipe/muffler
system, giving you a moderate increase in low end without sacrificing top end. I assume you stayed with the stock 22"tire size rather than the 20" XCT's, which would give you a decided shorter gear ratio & more low end.
BTW, I run Bandit XC's all around. The rears are 20", which cost me 1" of ground clearance but corner way better & hook up like on rails. The Kevlar band definitely helps also. The new Bandit rear has a slight more open tread pattern, making for even better hookup and lighter weight.
I'm sending you a pic of my ride via e-mail. It's fairly big, I hope Hotmail accepts it

I heard that the Duncan Double Barrel pipe and silencer were real good, and it doesnt affect your topend. As for tires the XCT's are 22 inch tires. They are a good choice. I have Razr's on mine. The holeshots and Razr's bite about the same.

I run Supertrap and K&N with a dynojet nedle and main on a 98 Warrior. I noticed only an improvement throughout the entire throttle.

My impression was that if you improve air flow in, you must have a balance going out. Supertrap is nice with respect to tune-ability, (adding, subtracting disks). Also, if not jetted correctly (within 1 to 2 sizes), taking the lid off the box makes for rapid adjustments. I have run this way for a year now and will soon be adding a better carb, a race cam, and a 12:1 comp piston. I hope this addition will keep up interest longer than before.

98 Warrior, 99 Banshee

I recommend the Bandit XC's all around or XC's in front and Realter's on the rear.(depending on surface) They hook up great.

But, before getting tires, try this cheap way to get low end. Drop a tooth on the front sprocket with stock height tires. A friend of mine did this just looking for low end on his '91. After this he raced and smoked a '99. His came out 1st and he was supprised to find he had more top end too. I guess it takes the overdrive out of 6th gear. It pulls harder and goes faster.

I hope you get the same results. It's a lot cheaper to try than a pipe and jet kit. If the low still ain't enough, then new 20" rears should help a little more. If all fails, pipe & jetting.
