hi,

i have a 97 wolverine. i was wondering if you had any input on my problem dealing with the universal joint connecting to the front differential. (the one closes to the transmission, under plastic cover) the bearings in the cross joint, inside the differential are shot and need to be replaced. now to remove the universal joint i must either A: take off the nut connecting it to the transmission (need esp. thin wrench to get to it) or B: try to push out the end caps of the cross joint, then slipping it out. the problem with answer "B" is that the caps look to be "pressed in with a heavy machine press, could i u think work it loose with time? if you have any comments or other answers please email me at snakeyes93@hotmail.com

thanks alot,
jonathan

You can push the caps out with a good "C" clamp and a couple of sockets
