stock flywheel lightening
#4
Lightening the flywheel will help the motor spin quicker intitially.
Remeber though, if you raise compression with a lightened flywheel and plan to ride in the trails, it will cause you headaches. The weight of the flywheel also helps the stock Rap to be lugged. Lighten it and lugging it like you were used to is all over.
So it all depends on what your plans are for this particular motor.

Esentially, the motor will rev quicker, less weight to turn. BUT, it will also keep you from being able to lug your motor like you can stock. Because you lighten the flywheel, there is less weight to turn. When it is stock (heavier) it keeps spinning longer and therefore allows you to lug the motor.
So there is a trade off to lightening the flywheel.
