I JUST REBUILT THE MOTOR ON MY 96 BLASTER. I PUT A 240 KIT IN IT AND WHEN WE FINISHED THE THING WOULD NOT CRANK. IT'S GETTING FUEL AND THE CDI BOX IS WORKING FINE SO WHATS WRONG WITH IT???

theres a number of things it can be its not gettin spark, no fuel, ur air fuel mixture can be off. check ur spark, clean ur jets, and if u have a k&n tune ur mixture screw 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 and see if it works. if it doesnt ask ur local shop. good luck peace

MIGHT HAVE A BROKEN REED---SAFETY SWITCH BETWEEN THE THROTTLE AND THE CARB--PARKING BRAKE SWITCH PROBABLY NOT THE PROBLEM BUT BYPASS IT ANYWAY---BLOWN CRANK SEAL ??? STILL THINKING -- IF NOTHING ELSE AND YA HAVE THE EQUIPMENT--PRESSURIZE THE TOP END ---SHOULD HOLD 7 TO 10 LBS MIN FOR 7 TO 10 MINUTES--

did you put the damn thing back together right? my buddy put his back together and didn't check the ring gap, then he got the rings off of the little pegs on the piston. that's a short lived top end, about three strokes and every thing was scratched all to hell. No, sierously, sounds like maybe a safety switch or something

I PUT THE RINGS ON RIGHT AND THE FLYWHEEL KEY IS IN GOOD SHAPE. ALL THE SEALS WERE REPLACED WHEN THE 240 KIT WAS INSTALLED. I JUST ORDERED NEW REEDS AND WILL SEE IF THAT IS THE PROBLEM.

THANKS FOR THE INFO,
LIFTKIT
