hey im buying a banshee from ebay... got any ideas on how to get it shipped up here? i live in alaska so getting it from ebay is for the most part my only shot at gettin a banshee we haeva cycle shop but they are asking way more money then i got.. so i am getting on off ebay and im wondering how to ship it up .. ideas anyone?

 

Call couple trucking firms see what they would charge you to bring the bike to your door step.

 

Go to www.forwardair.com and see where they have hubs at up in Alaska. They are very inexpensive and fast. I shipped a 550lb crate (quad) from Minnesotta to Ca for only $144.00 and it was here in 3 days! Get their phone # off the site and give them a call. They don't have computers answering, they have live people! Hope this helps.

Have your buyer go to a dealer where he lives and try to get a crate from a new quad. It is easier than building your own. Also check with forward air and see if they ship close to you. From what I have read from most sellers, they have found that is the easiest and cheapest way to go.

 

ya i have looked on the the forwarair website and there map shows the closest as seattle.. and i live in the interior of alaska so... i could give them a call though and see about it.
