Default i need help with my 2 stroke!

i have a 1994 Honda Elite (50cc) scooter (2 stroke), and it is not running good at all. it ran good ever since i bought it a little over 2 years ago, but it seems like all the sudden its just crapped out on me. it's like it lost all its power (what little bit it had, lol). it wont break 10mph going up a long hill. when i sit at a stop sign for a couple of seconds, and take off it bogs down and sputters until about 10mph. i got tired of riding it in this condition, so i parked it in the garage for about a week.
i got bored and pulled it out of the garage, and i knew something was wrong. i started it up and gave it a little bit of gas, and thick white smoke rolled out of the exhaust (usually blue smoke comes out) and it didnt smell like burning oil. does anyone know what could be wrong?

i also thought it was bad rings when it started loosing power. but when it started smoking like that, i figured it was something else. it probably wouldnt hurt to rebuild it though. can anybody else help?

Check your compression with a gauge or pull the plug out and hold your finger over the hole and kick the thing over.

Any chance you may have gotten in some water? sounds like maybe water in the gas, and the white smoke could have been condinsation from sitting. Did it clear up? I would check the compression for sure, I still think bad rings. Anyone else??

If it isn't running right, has an odd color smoke, and the smoke smells odd, my guess is the seal for the crankshaft is bad. It is letting the oil that lubes the ring/pinion into the crankcase and it is being burned. Also, since it isn't running right, the seal is leaking air and leaning it out.

WarriorMadness-
I dont know how water could've gotten in the gas. i keep it in the garage, and i dont ride it in the rain. it didnt get any better, so it is sitting at the shop now. the mechanic didnt know what was wrong with it when i took it over there. but, we ran it for a couple of minutes and after he turned it off, oil was dripping out of the muffler.

i'll let you guys know what was wrong with it when the mechanic tells me. thanks for all the help.

Now this has got to be that crankcase seal. My sons CR80 was running rough on bottom end but on top end it would screem. I had to put oil in the crankcase every time we rode it. It was the crankcase gasket. It was sucking oil into the piston causing the poor performance. Plus it was dripping oil out of the muffler too. Have you checked the oil in the trans? If its low this has to be the problem. If so then you have to do a complete tear down. Good luck.

ok guys, i got my scooter back from the shop a couple of days ago. it turns out that my carbuerator (bad speller) was out of adjustment or something like that. it runs normal again. i was upset that they charged me $63.34 for them to fix it though. oh well.
Thanks for all your help.
