Vilnirk- Do you have any idea is the carrallo rod started life as a Honda civic or toyota product?? Can you list the specs for the rod?? I am just curios if it can be made out of something else like a 100 dollar part. I can't believe that carola makes raptor only. Where did you get the rod?? Thanks

Does the lower end use a bushing then? 14mins, doesn't the import engines still use a rod cap (two piece rod)? 145 gram rod, pretty light compared to the 800g Oliver pieces in my ford. Good size pins though. The big end is about the size of the mains in a NASCAR engine if any cares. What length is the rod? JE/SRP makes a few atv pieces and will make ANY custom piston you want (I asked). You can have them make a high pin height so you can have a long rod stroker.

$179 isn't bad if you consider the set of eight for my truck was about $2000.
