My friend had plug his sidewall on his 01 Raptor 2 months after he got it. Its been holding fine for aver a year now.

 

yes they can usually. get a hot patch kit and do it right, or use a cabela's plug kit. the hot patch of course is the best idea and the most work.

 

yes the super glue works. I have some other brand but the result is the same. also, you can weld things together with a little baking soda and super glue.

I have ran a plug in a stock banshee front tire for almost 2 years. I was worried but thought "what the heck. The tire is ruined anyway." Worked fine with no problems.

 

My stock tires where junk I had at least 2 plugs in all the sidewalls, they held fine for about 2 months, but that was a great excuse for the wife for me to get new tires[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Wow, I have 10 in my right fronts sidewall, some holes have 2 plugs in each. no problems.

A buddy just replaced his at 18 plugs. if you get the good kind, they dont dry out and frey ( I like "camel" brand from pepboys) If you use the rubber cement it will be a permanent fix.

 

Gentlemen....wanna know what will cure the sidewall holes? Run more air pressure...at least 6-6.5 pounds of air.

 

I do run 6psi, we got some kind of dagger rocks here in coal country PA LOL
