i have a 99 warrior, and i just put a new clutch in it. i put in a factory clutch, and everything seems to be fine. except for the fact that it still engages almost all the way out of the realease of the lever, is this normal, or should it engage half-way out of the release. thank you for your help.

 

Your clutch should have a gradual engagement and not all at one time like you describe.

Your adjustment is the cable itself. Take all the slack out of the cable and try again to eliminate the cable as being the problem.

If it still acts this way afterwards, it's internal.
