Default -Warrior Starter Clutch-

The starter clutch on ma warrior is fudged up, ive had it off and looked at it, i ordered a new one for it but the allen bolts that hold it on the stator are all stripped. They have a pin sunk in the side to keep them from being removed. i bought my bike used and have been rebuilding it i hate that the last owner stripped them. well i think i can buy some cheap allen sockets and weld them into the holes then use the impact to try to get them out, i ordered a new starter clutch and new bolts, i just dont wanna have to buy a new flywheel thur 400$ from team alba.

Anybody got any other ideas, could the heads be drilled off and then will it seperate from the flywheel or are they treaded in that to?????

Please Help Im Sick of that pull start crap.

Hey RaceWarrior,

I know its been awhile (2 1/2 years) but what happened to your quad? Did you get it going? What did you do?

I have a problem with my 89 warrior. The gear that the starter drives was all chewed up. I think they call it an idle gear. It is the gear between the starter and the flywheel gear. I have no idea why this gear's teeth broke off. I think it also messed up the end of my starter too. I gotta get a new gear, bearings, and starter. Fudge
