why is my ds so much faster than a raptor, and why do i beat them in every race

I know we have seen 3 Raptors around where we ride and They are Nice looking Quad But I dont Know Maybe its the Rider But but they did not show me Much.
And I asked if I could Ride one of then and they would Not let me and I also told them they could ride my Banshee.
