Any CANADIAN Grizz owners had their floor boards replaced under warranty???
#1
Hi, I am hoping this will help me to get the obviously defective floor board ssupports and plastic floor boards on my Grizz replaced under warranty (They are bent all to crap). The dealer says its not Yamaha Canada's practice to replace these with the new ones. He is a good guy, but yamaha is tying his hands. I want to print off the list and give it to his service rep. I am SICK of the run-around on this. If your dealer has done this for you, please list your dealers name, where they are, and approximately when the fix was done.
Thank you to all who reply,

i have never heard of anyone getting them replaced by yamaha. however you can repair them yourself. go to 2002grizzly660 's website. he he said it works great. i have not done this modifacation because i got one of the late model 2002's with the modified floor boards.

I'm sure I've seen lots of posts where they were replaced, I just can't remember if any of them were from Canada.

i'm in the process right now of getting the new floorboards. My dealer called the higher ups at yamaha and they said the reason that the newer 2002's have the weak floorboards is because there was a running production change. I am taking my quad in next week and they are replacing them for free with labor. The dealer is J+J sports in dekalb/sycamore ILL. Hopefully this will help. Later
