We cut a bigger allen wrench into lilttle pieces then grind a little bit from each side and put it in a drill/screw gun to get stripped allen bolts out. If that dosent work, I wouldnt weld on them, would make too much heat which would warp stuff. Try some epoxy resin on the bits instead of welding. As a matter of fact i just finished wresling with a allen bolt then gave up on the next one and im taking a rest break/waiting for help to get off work.

Could you drill a hole in the screws and back them out with an "easy-out" and replace the screws?

All the ones ive come across were very hard/brittle feeling. If they stick out some you can wrap some leather around it and use some vice lock pliars to get it.

Go to Ace Hardware if you have one nearby. There is a liquid product for getting stripped screws out etc. It is basically a liquid with pieces of metal or something hard in it. You put it on a stripped screw like a phillips head and it works miracles. I've used it on allen head screws too with great success.

Craftsman also makes a set of tools for removing all types of stripped screw heads that work.

I've always used EZ Outs for this. Takes like 30 seconds to get the screw out. If you can't afford EZs you can get generic versions for $5-10 at Wally World, Advance, Lowes, etc.

Ok, lemme rephrase this, when i took the motor apart before i thought u had to take them out to get the flywheel off i didn know u needed a puller. I didnt know that a small pin is drivin in right beside the allen bolts so that u cant get them out easily. i know now u have to drill in the botom of the screw and then take them out but uhh 2 late, i tryed an impact with an allen bit on it, it stripped all 6. Just wondering since the starter cltutch bolts to the flywheel, can i just drill the heads of the allens off and seperate the 2??? i have new starter clutch and bolts just dont wanna screw the flywheel up dont care bout the clutch, but is the flywheel threaded 2? i dont think they are but i needa know. If i cant do that ill use one of u guys methods to try and get them out.

Thanks for all the advice and ide like some more.
