13.8? a stock bear tracker has 17.1hp. theres no way a wolv only has 13.8 and a warrior 18.

If you go to the "product reviews" section of this site and look at the test on a FMF pipe on a Wolverine, It has dyno sheets there. The Wolverine made about 18.2 hp on the dyno with a stock pipe and also with the FMF. But the pipe raises the torque quite a bit.It works best with the discs installed also. I would think even though the Warrior has the same top end of the motor, the rear wheel hp would be a little higher cause its chain drive and not shaft like the wolv.My guess would be about 20 or so BHP which is rear wheel hp.If you really want an eye opener, go to www.dynojet.com and look at the new atv jet kit section. they have some dyno graphs there that will suprise a lot of people. How about the big 500 Sportsman. Guess what, only18.8 bhp stock!!!And also how about the 450 s Honda. Hows 11.9 sound??? Kinda suprising for two of the big dogs on the market eh??? Guess the old outdated warrior/ Wolv. is a pretty good bang for the buck!!!Dont forget....
dyno's dont lie.

the warrior and wolverines enginges are EXACTLY the same except the wolverine was tamed with a semi auto clutch instead of manual so how could the horses be different?

The Wolverine has a 34mm carb, and the Warrior uses a 36mm.

Like the guy up above a couple of replys ago said the bottom ends are different and the Wolverine is turning a shaft drive and the Warrior is using a chain drive so Warrior=more H.P out of the two.

atv god5, the only thing exactly the same is the top end of the engines.Everything from the cylinder up. The bottom ends are totally different. The wolverine has a 5 pound centrifical clutch on the end of the crank that robs some hp. Also the Warrior is a 6 speed where the Wolverine is only a 5 speed. And also
the 95 Wolverines like mine have a 36mm carb like the warrior. The 96 and up ones have a 34mm carb.
