Default Warrior engine tear down

I'm having trouble spliting the base, everthing has been removed but it seems like the gasket or whatever they use from the factory just won't let go.
Any tips??

Thanks,

theres no gasket in the center where you would think there should be one. Make sure you have all the 8mm bolts out, make sure the starter is out, and there are a few more bolts in there near the flywheel. once you are sure tap lightly on the casting up top near where the reverse lever was.

Theres no need to pull the flywheel to split the case either, since the crank comes out the other side and the bolts are accessible.

yes, I would go to the dealer and get it though, yamaha uses special stuff that doesnt harden or gum up in the oil pump. I forget the make of the stuff I used right now but it was special stuff i just used it sparingly so it doesnt clog anything up. when you get it apart you will notice the oil passeges (there are 2) in the center of the cases that pass the oil to each, they also need the sealer applied to them.

Also I bought the gasket set off of ebay which saved a few bucks. I wouldnt get the seal kit on ebay though, I did and couldnt even find where half of the stuff went.
