The class rules in Wisconsin do not allow the use of alcohol except open classes.
In that same class you can also run nos and wheelie bars.
This quad is used on fast trails and so is being built around using gas.
Drags have been on a very small scale here. Wish there was more.
Thanks

Oldmanracing:

Yes, we had the boost ports on the intake side. The transfer ports were raised, the exhaust port had been widened and raised significantly as well.

The Keihin PWK Air Striker carbs have "vanes" which help direct air flow over the needle at partial throttle settings. This is supposed to give better throttle response. The standard PWK does not have these additional vanes.

I am not sure if Sudco's website has diagrams of these carbs or not (sudco.com)

I am not sure of the rpm range we were operating in. I suspect it was in the 9,000-9,500 range before power fell off significantly, but don't know for sure. We had planned on dyno-ing the Blaster, but sold it before we got around to it.

Regards,

Rog
