raptor pipe

Go with the Yoshi, I just put a complete Comp. series on and it sounds awesome, its not loud, just a deep tone. Everyone that saw it and heard it was impressed, It also made a big difference in performance with no mods to air box or rejetting.
I just ordered the K&N filter and pre-filter,aluminum flange adapter, and the jet kit from GYT can't wait until I mod the air box and rejet, Will keep you posted
Here's the web page from dirt wheels mag. Raptor pipe shoot out

I have the LRD pipe I can't say if that was what " woke mine up" because I did SOOO much at one time but I can tell you that I am very happy with it the power feels very smooth and strong my only complaint is that it is SO D@MN LOUD!!!
it is also a very pretty pipe just thought I would help add to all the posts

Note: With a 100dBA limit - pretty much all the pipes mentioned above are illegal. They are race pipes - not trail pipes. Check with the manufacter before you buy any pipe. Ride with the wrong pipe and Mr Ranger will send you packing...

yeah buddy, in this state anyway!!! 93 db at the dunes, and 99db over here on the desert/woods areas. My FMF pc2SA runs at like 101, but so far everyone has winked at me. Now if you're 103 or more, you're loading up. I've seen it happen...
guess theyre pretty stringent at the coastal dunes....

All the pipes will bring up the noise level, but the Yoshi (100db @ 6500 RPM) keeps it closest to stock levels which are (92db @ 6500 RPM)., I believe there no quiter pipe with equal performance as the Yoshi.

If you were buying a slip on i would say go with the Big Gun racing slip on. I have it and can beat any other raptor with the same mods as me but with a different slip on. WB's, R4's, FMF's, Procircuit's, and others. But since you want the whole system go with the CT sonic or the DMC, and since you mentioned that you have sound limits you might wanna try the Big Gun silent whole system. It is really quiet but im not sure what the horsepower ratings are. Anyone know how much horspower a raptor with a stage 1 cam and piston and ct sonic pipe with k&N filter would put out. Thats what i want to do. When i save up some money.

thanks for all your input guys. the 100dB level is at idle, and ive seen trinity, gtyr, fmf, and white bros pipes all pass it. the guy with the trinity had the 686 kit, nos, a cam, and port/polish. i didnt think hed pass, but he was quiet.
has anyone had problems with sand and water getting in when you remove the airbox lid? i know that i could get some more power with a pipe that way, but is it better in the long run to buy a new box?
