Hi All, I am new to the 4x4 sport and I can use all the information I can get.. I am looking at both the grizz-660 and the Polaris 700, Can you guys give me the pros and cons on them??? I know every machine has its flaws but what are they and how severe is the problem?? Whats a good price for a new 03 Grizz 4x4?? Thanks in advance

a good price on the grizzly out the door is about 7200 with a wench and an extended warrenty.
the griz has a real good engine and suspencion, and the floorboards are better supported than the early 02 models. the grizzly is a solid machine.
the 700 seems to have had water pump issues, but polaris is working it out. this is all from reading about it though, no experiance here. other than that, i think there both big 4x4 quads, and both would be a blast to be on.

couldn't be happier with my grizz. 1300 miles 80 hrs and not one problem. god i love this machine.
P.S. i know half a dozen people who have owned a 700 and after riding my grizz, and getting sick of the problems with them traded them in for a grizz.

Couldn't tell you about the 700, but I will agree with the above answers on the Grizzly. I keep fresh oil with a little Lucas in it and always keep it clean. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. I would suggest finding a dealer that sells both machines and ask them what they think and how often either bike is in the shop. Good luck with the one you choose and Happy Trails.
