Default blaster smoking

well my sons blaster decided to start smoking quite a bit and thats with the blockoff on. i took it down the road a couple times and it starts to lose power on high end and smokes pretty bad. i have a feeling this is a crank case seal issue? am i right? how much of a headache am i looking at to change it? and i have been keeping and eye on the oil level and i have to keep adding some evey other ride and i have no leaks.
thanks

yeah- sounds like your top end is pretty much shot. can you hear any rattling coming from the motor at idle. you should probabally hear a kinda sputter noise when you're at a steady spead in mid or top end. Those are all pretty good signs of a shot top end.

Only two things can cause that. 1) The cases have lost their seal where they mate and is allowing oil from the trans into the bottom end. 2) The right crankshaft seal is leaking oil or the nut is loose on the primary drive gear, same result.

is the bike jetted correctly, also what gas mix ratio are you using? Im sure you have already checked this but thought I would ask just incase. after installing the block off plate the mix ration might be different then when it was oil injected you know. just a thought

good luck , hope its not bad.

Yes, and at least two lobes per cylinder. One for the intake valve(s) and one for the exhaust valve(s).
