Default Proper mounting of front razorback sand tires.

I want to ensure that my fronts are mounted properly. Should the straight (flat) edge of the center rib face out with the curved portion facing in ?? I'm guessing this will keep the front tires from washing out in the turns.

Thanks, Eric

The curved part goes out.
If you turn right the left front does most of the turning because of weight transfer so the cupped side needs to be facing out to get bite.

you can mount them either way. .. but obviously youll get better turning depending on hoe you do it.. ill try to "draw" a little pictuer of the way to mount them for better turning....

It makes sense but is backwards from what MOOSE says.

Elsancho has got it right. I've tried them both ways, and for cornering, you want the ribs to be angled outward, which helps keep your front end from "pushing" when turning at high speed.

The angle looks like it is on the inside to me, in his drawing.

Elsancho's drawing shows the flat sides out - is this optimum for turning ?

There reall isn't a straight edge on them. The oppisite side of the cupped side is rounded towards the cup.
