well.....here is what happend. i just baught the quad. the kid had a new top-end put in it right before i baught it, so it was not even broken yet. anyways...the oil filter was put in wrong, which allowd metal to get through. oil could still get through, but is was HIGHLY restricted and CONTAMINATED. so, that locked up the oil pump, and broke ,my oil pump gear. then, since no oil got up into the head and what not, it froze my piston. which scratched the cylinder walls and piston itself. it was one big chain reaction! thanks for all your help.
