Not much to worry about. Seals are one thing it will damage but not running long enough to hurt any. I once had a woman bring a car to the shop that she over filled. It was a 2.0 liter and when I drained oil it filled a 15 quart drain pan. It blew out head gasket and rear and front main. She thought you had to fill to top. If I was you I would do all my own services, not hard at all. The worst part would be adjusting valves and that isn't hard.
