Default Banshee chain adjustment problem

Why not just take a link out of the chain...
I have the same problem on my honda. Does anyone know if there is a way to take out an link on a chain with/out any special tools. How do i get a chain splitter?

thanks

Well, you actually have to take out 2 links - can't take just one out. Besides, you still need to adjust it right?

You need a chain breaker. You can get them at Rocky Mountain or several other places. Nobody can tell you how long your chain needs to be without knowing how long your swing-arm is. Just measure how short your chain is then see how many links are needed to make up that difference. Stock Banshee chain is 104 links. Buy a 120 link chain and take out the links you need to get it to the right size or just buy a chain with the measured amount of links.
