Is Engine Reliable after HOTCAM Stage 1 Put In!!!!
#2
The drop in cam Stage one, should not affect reliablity at all . They were designed for stock Raptors with trail riding in mind is what Hot Cams told me. Just take your time installing or have it done professionally. Its when you go with larger cams, springs, high compression, you get in to engine life longevity problems. The more you do to a quad's engine towards racing, the less trail ridable it becomes. The great thing about the Raptor is that with jetting and it responds really well! I just installed the Hot Cam stage one on top of existing bolt on mods and havent really had much time to test at the track yet. I had to pull mine back apart for a decompression pin exchange. I also am going to remove my advance key for more top end I hope. Good luck.

I should have made myself more clear.
In another post shock said his Raptor ran 8.4 in the 1/8 and it was only bolt-ons. I was asking him if he was considring a cam bolt-on since he just said that he has the stage1 in the Raptor.
As far as I know the stage one is a good cam. Everybody I have heard say anything was all good, except the decomp pin problem but thats fixed.

No you can't sell on here unless you are a preferd vendor. There is a guy on here that has some for sale on e-bay though. Good deal on the cams and the guy is great to deal with, he was for me anyway. Try checking on e-bay for hot cams, they shouldn't be hard to find.
