Well I guess I might not be goin' over there. Have you talked to anybody else in there area for confirmation on the Feb. 1st date that was stated in the other post. (DNR officer or Sheriff). They will need extra patrol on New Years Day just trying to keep people out. I have talked to coupleof people just at my work that planned to go up then.

No, I am sorry I have not. If I hear anything I will let you know. This being the second season that area has not been leased it has attracted more hunters and as you know there is many secluded areas there.

I can understand them shutting it down. I hunted some public land this year and some of the hunters today do think past the end of there gun. They don't think about what could be on the other side of what there shouting at. Or they just start throwing lead in the air. Plus if I was hunting there I wouldn't want to have to worry about some one riding by just as I shot. I also think they do that so you can't push deer to your buddy. With your four wheeler while he is hunting.
