Sprocket & Tires for Blaster
Right On Mike. I too have kids,,,5 of them the last time I counted,,,,was looking to get a quad,,,and always wanted to mod a blaster. I came real close to buying one last year, but I'm glad I waited since Yammy decided to update it in 03. The way I see it, power is a wonderful thing, but sometimes less is more. Here in the east where riding areas are tight, I rarely see 5th and 6th gear even on the Blaster. What's even more fun is smoking the "faster" quads and listening to their excuses when they get beaten by a Blaster. I see people turn their nose up when I pull up on a Blaster, then after they ride with me,,,,,I gain a little respect. Cheers. Dave.

good for you, Dave, have fun with it! you're gonna love those tires and rims.
Mike, I recommended changing just the front sprocket as it is easier, plus it sounded like ground clearance was a problem. the change you need to make for the new tire diameter is minor, so dont go nuts with the sprockets - you may be wasting yer time! chances are good if you change the front by one tooth, it's all you'll need. you may not need a huge mill-saw lookin rear sprocket.
