How do I make my Shee a good drag racer? any tips!?
#1
Hey guys. I really want to make my Banshee a good drag racer for the ice this year and the sand hills next summer. What can I do to make it as fast as possible with as little $ as possible? Is there any good techniques to take into consideration when drag racing? I am also thinking of getting a lowering kit for the front and rear, would any one recommend them? I would like the lower center of gravity for fast turns and over all better looks. How should I set up the STOCK suspension to make it the best for drag racing? The hill I drag on mainly is VERY bumpy with large whoops at the bottom. I was told to make it as soft as possible to get the best traction over the bumps, but I know having a soft suspension can hinder the take-off. Also, the clutch I have is a Trinity High Performance clutch with a billet basket and I am wondering if this will be up to alot of 2nd gear take-offs, or is that not a good idea?
Thanks!!

I just sold the engine you needed, a K&T 521cc stroker. After my wreck I am slowing down. If you want a lowering kit, which will help, check on ebay. I just posted one this morning.
