Should be. I have my RD, and I dont want to get it all nasty, but back in the day when my dad had his he put a dirt bike tire on the rear and went slinging mud on the weekends. You couldnt use a pure crotch rocket though, would have to be a pocket rocket (Any of the old 2 strokes that were under 350lbs) (lighter) that way your less likely to die when it hits a whoop.

 

I was a big street bike drag racer for quite a while. The bikes are very stable. But, I woulnd't even think about my last drag bike with a paddle tire on the rear. Its instant death lol Like Jakal said, it would go all over the place if ya hit a whoop.

 

I just couldn't imagine putting a paddle on any of the street bikes I had in the past.

The suspension would be worthless.

How about a street bike motor in a widen and lengthen atv, let's say a p650, maybe a 1300R, Suzuki Hayabusa motor, with a tubro. 175 hp + 14 lbs boost, ( bringing it to 300 hp), instant boost because it has a power cammander 11 controling the .........Chet oil intake.... no spooling up.... hummmm... it is a four stroke! lol

I was told only OEM bikes and motors at 4sw even in the open class, oh well!

How bout a Bombardier frame with an RX-7 twin turbo engine (around the same displacment as a hayabusa engine, 1300cc) in it. Port it and up the boost, 400-500 hp would be easy. Stretch it about 2 foot longer and 1 foot wider then have at it. No one at the hill with be bothering you then. Put some ceramic apex seals and good hardware on it and you should be pretty reliable too [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] .
