Default digital speedometer for Quad?

Sorry it is taking me a while to respond. With Christmas everything is a bit crazy. The speedo seems to be pretty accurate, and so far has been pretty durable. It has other features such as max speed, average speed, lap timer, and maintenance reminders. The head unit is weather tight and is operated by a small battery that lasts for over a year. Battery replacement is easy through a screw type door in the back. I will post the pictures on my web site tomorrow when I can get some daylight.

Click on the photo albums link and then the ATV section.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

Why not get a basic GPS for $100 or less. You still have all the speed readings, you KNOW for a fact it is accurate, it tells direction, elevation, marks your tracks, has waypoints so you can mark places and can be transfered between quads, vehicles or hand carried. You can interface it to your computer and dowloads your trips and waypoints, etc, etc....

Nope.... Unless you count your tax dollars.
