blaster

There is a fine line between what people think is "making more power" and "making better use of " the power that is already there.
The only way the Blaster is going to really make more power....Is to dive into the engine and start boring and porting and maybe even changing the stroke. I think that the engine would produce more power if it were liquid cooled. Heat robs much power... You could shave the head a bit...I could go on and on.
But....with all that aside..... You can mess with pipes and reeds(which is most common).....Get a better filter to provide more air....re-jet......
A little trick that makes you think you have more power is to simply change the sprockets. Shorter or taller gearing would give you different results in the acceleration dept.
what are you really looking for out of the Blaster?....It's a great bike...but very costly to make such a machine competetive against the bigger bores. For the size and price of the Blaster...you are getting a pretty good ripper.
Blasters in there stock form are not meant to be drag racers...But I've seen experienced riders on the blaster...eat up larger...worked machines in the woods.
