Has anyone bent there factory wheels on their Raptors. Yamaha wants 190.00 dollars a piece. Is there anyway to repair them?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

you can use a sledge or my favorite - a bottle jack that fits right inside the rim. but it will probably never be totally round again.

 

thanks for the reply maybe i will try it tonight, with a hammer and block of wood.

 

if you cant get it straight I would try looking in the classisfieds here or on ebay where they are plentiful.. Also you could pick up a set of aftermarket rims but I have had no luck with them staying true.

 

I can't believe Yamaha wants 190.00 dollars for one wheel, and they also said that i had to have it a rock or stump to bend it and that it was not under warranty. I haven't hit anything but pretty high jumps and normal bumps. I can almost get a whole set of wheels for that price.

 

my right rear tecate rim was pretty much squared and I think they wanted like 70$ or somthin so I asked my local dealer what to do and they said leave it there overnight and didnt charge me and it was like new again, I just had to paint it white again, but now I have .190s

 

If it is a strait front wheel you are looking for I have one that came off my 2001 Raptor. I bought .190 Douglas wheels for the front of mine. I will let you have the wheel cheap![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

How Cheap and what kind of condition?

 

I bought some rear 20 inch shredders with lots of tread on ebay, with aluminum rims, for like 80 bucks. (Arent factory warrior, banshee, and raptor wheels the same?

 

Raptorx how does $45.00 sound to you and it is strait, some scratches on the outside lip but nothing major. The other wheel is bent that is why I am selling only the one. Let me know, I am out of town know but will be back on Saturday.
