Default Dynojet Springs vs Stock Springs

I read a long thread about cutting the springs and am still confused. In the Dynojet installation guide, they state that the supplied springs do not have to be used. They are supplied if the stock springs are misplaced.

Should I replace the stock springs? What enhancements are gained by simply swapping them out?

You need to re read your instructions!!
It says to install the Dynojet slide springs DSP206 (they are a diffrent tension & should be used)
The DSP77 springs are needle springs & are the same as stock & can be used as spares!

Moose,
I reread the instructions, I got confused on the 77 springs in the note.

So once again, what is the advantage of the different tension?

Thanks for the reply.

The Dynojet springs are thinner to allow quicker throttle response. I think most people would agree not to use them since they are more prone to bounce & cause jetting difficulties. JMO!
