Default RM blaster

My cousin has a 1983 RM 250. It runs like a top and we're putting a wiseco piston, and boyseen racing reeds in it and we're gonna get a slight bore. His frame on the other hand is in need of a little help. He needs a front right shock, rear monoshock, rear sprocket, and other things. We got the idea to put that motor into a quad. The a salvage cycle place with tons of frames and everything of bikes and quad that need motors. We want to put the engine into a quad frame. Theres alot of blasters up there and one or two lt 250r's. Would the Lt be a better choice? would it bold right up? We heard the engine is basically the same

I think the LT frame would be the best choice, because it was designed to handle more power than the Blaster frame.
You could probably mount the engine in the LT frame with less modifications. Just my $0.02.

well if you go looking for a lt250 frame in a salvage yard it will probaly have a crackin the swingarm near the bearing carrier a cracked or bent frame and every bushing and bearing will be worn out
