cheap power?

Default cheap power?

What can i do to drag out my 2000 banshee without spending $5000 for a turbo? Power valve,Porting,Boring,LR,ST, What?

Nitrous Oxide [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] and some moderate porting, big time porting would be faster but I dont think the engines last to long. Adding a powervalve will help your bottom end, but it prolly wouldnt be that helpful in full drag. Also something like a 370 or 420 or 570 wouldnt be a bad idea if you really wanna fly.

So many different combinations of power adders, you can really go any way you want. Have to ask around to find out what makes the most power with the most reliablilty, but Nitrous would be my guess since its not always on and for normal riding you could just change the jet and cut the bottle off.

Call couple of well know engine builder like LRD,Trinity, Pro curuit, Duncan, so on...

Ask them what you want and see what they can do for for your buget... It all about money=HP!!

No such thing. Cheapest power that u could feel would be pipes (CPI Inframe drag), next would be porting with new bigger bore carbs. Then comes power pistons, power valves, high compression heads. You should have changed the air filters before u even rode it. Take the lid off the air box and drill and screen some holes.

But no matter what you do, it wont matter unless u can get the power to the ground. Keep that in mind.

If you find a turbo under 2 grand tell me, I need one for my RD. 150hp and 290lbs sounds like fun to me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

i've got pipes and i've got a single k&n with a custom airbox and reeds and a boost bottle

get a trinity 550, or 535 powervalved engine. change the carbs up to run alcohol. get NOS. porting, polishing. higher compression. new reeds. tons of stuff.
