slip on airfilters

Default slip on airfilters

just ordered my slip on airfilters from uni airfilter to eliminate my entire airbox.what do i do with all those extra vacuum lines, especiallt the two big ones coming out of the carbs.do i just block them off or put a little airfilter in them and hook them to the frame?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

you can get some little filters that look like k&n's. just put 'em on and stick them where you like them best.you can get these at napa, o'reillys, etc. hope i helped you.

As I said on BT..you will more than likely lose hp by bolting them directly to the carbs..you definitely wont gain as much as if you did it the correct way...but do as you please. There are a few guys on here with dyno runs to back this up. The stock carbs NEED the velocity tubes as well as the vacuum lines to be hooked up.

thanks rcr,i guess i will leave the velocity tubes on and hook the twin airfilters up to them
