I just wanted to stop in and say that I have never seen so many yamahas on the end of the rope getting towed!! I counted 23 on the "A" trail that had someone pulling them out. We also ran into problems with mudholes, the poor banshee would get in there and get stuck and hold the field up forever!!! It took us 1 hour to go down a 60 foot hill and into a mud hole because the banshee's were stuck. Now dont get me wrong I think the banshee is a good quad, definitely fast, and a great TRACK bike, BUT Cochranton is only for the BIG DOGS!!! Ok now you can start your criticism!! Truth and nothing but the truth.

Problem is you have to go at a snail's pace(polaris)
the Banshee I rode made it through unstuck so did 7 others that were with me,we slung some mud and hurt a few feelings but the Banshees are high speed skimmers not mud boggers

Same experiences here. If it just mud and not 2 feet deep and I'm in front with other faster quads, I don't get stuck much. If I trail behind the slower vehicles, the speed advantage is gone and I'll end up sliding off into a mud hole and getting stuck.

My personal experiences when riding with 4x4 quads is that the faster bikes have a big advantage when tackling some of the steeper hills. I loved climbing up a root infested dirt hill and then watching the 4x4s get winched up the side of it

Ill agree here. I've ridden with some Banshees. They can rip through SOME mud. But when it comes down to the REALLY bad stuff. There is NO substitute for a good 4X4. But I have been impressed quite a few times by the Banshee's getting through a few "ugly" spots. Although I have passed a few of them on my Wolverine (passed indicating i was BEHIND them the whole way until they were stuck) but I passed a few of them spinning their tires in some nasty stuff. Personally I'd take a 4X4 when it comes to mud. Have ridden a Banshee a few times. Love it. Power is awesome. But I do think they need to stand back and let the 4X4's take the UGLY spots. Rock on with your Yamaha's!

P.S. Every quad has its fav place to run!

Over 70% of the field were Polaris (Explain that)! Like I said yes the banshees are fast but they were the main hold up all day. Hills??? I think that my scrambler will tackle all, NO PROBLEM! Oh well I was not here to bash anyone or there quads that they rode in Cochranton I was just stating TRUE facts.
