I'm really wanting to get the 690 kit in my Raptor and actually am in line to get it in but am curious how backed up Sparks really is right now??

 

If your in line to get one you must have talked to Scott. What did he say?

 

He got my name and phone number and said he'd give me a call when theres a spot open but he couldnt give me an idea on how long so I thought someone here maybe went through it already and might have an idea. He told me not to send them the engine until he called me so I can still ride it while I'm waiting. I'm really hoping that they can get it done before spring break but I donno, prolly not. He told me they had orders backed up until Aug. 2004, which is CRAZY! But he said most people back out cause they dont wanna wait so long. But that was the blunt of the convo other than me just asking simple questions about the kit and so on.

 

Don't wait by the phone, it took a year for me to get my 690 kit. But it was well worth the wait.

 

I ONLY had to wait 3 months..but i had mine done early on, got my motor back march 2002, i was on the list for 2 months before i sent my motor. i am so glad i did it...my motor rocks...sparks stuff is very fast and reliable. get on the list and ride your raptor until Scott calls you.

p.s. if you send your motor to sparks, get the carbs.........

 

How much were they backed up when you had yours schduled?
