Yamaha 80

 

1979 Italjet 50cc(automatic) at age 6, had it for about 6-8 months and broke a fork tube
1979 Italjet 50cc(automatic with 2 gears) age 6 replaced the 1st one,
1980 Yamaha YZ50 got for 8th birthday
1981 Yamaha YZ80(used) got this for 11th birthday
1980 Honda 185 ATC first rode at age 8, (a friends) was mine at 13 years old
1981 Honda 250r 3-wheeler(used) bought this myself at 14 years old(the old air-cooled one)
1991 GSXR-750 bought when I was 19(late 92) it was used, and later someone like it more than me and stole it from my work.
1993 Honda CBR600F2 age 20(sold in 1st part of 94)
1992 GSXR-750(just bought to sell)
1994 Kawasaki ZX-7 age 21(sold in late 96)
1997GSXR-600(first brand new bike) age 24, looped over backwards in mid 98(acting crazy) and then sold later that year.
1994 Honda CBR600F2(fixed and sold)age 25
1994 Kawasaki ZX-9(fixer-upper) age 27
1997 GSXR-750 (fixer-upper to keep for a while) age 27
1994Yamaha SecaII 600 (fixer-upper to sell)age 27, sold and bought a
2000 Warrior age 28(sold soon)
2001 Raptor(still have) age28, sold 1997 GSXR-750 to buy in Aug. 2001(this thing is awesome)

I never realized the list was that long. Cool.....

Then Yamaha 125 Dirt Bike (Utility type dirt bike not a racing kind)
Then Yamaha 225DX 3-Wheeler (Happy to get a sportier ride)
Then Honda 250 Big Red 3-Wheeler (Wanted a Honda 250R but dad was not game)
Then Yamaha 350 Big Bear 4x4 (Wanter Yamaha 350 Warrier but dad was not game)
Now Yamaha Raptor 660R (Married and all grown up now)
Next Yamaha Grizzly 660 (Miss my automatic and creaping abilities will still keep the Raptor for all out fun just need a Utility on the farm)

I appreciate what my dad did for me. He moved me up slowly so that I would not kill myself. I had a good friend lose his life when we were in 8th grade riding his new Big Red(that was his first, moved straight from bicycle to Big Red.) My dad being mechanically inclined would always govern my new rides down until I learned to ride and respect them.
