v or straight sand tires?
I moved as soon as I got back from FSW, and it took them until yesterday to hook up my dang phone line, yes I am now that far out in the sticks.
The recipe well its a secret family recipe called Tony Chacheres instant Roux mix. Make that according to the directions, and decide what else you want to put in it and then boil away. I had bell peppers, green onions, shrooms, purple onions, and chicken for the main ingredients. Then add red pepper, black pepper, bay leaves (about 3 for a big pot), Tony Chacheres seasoning ( in the green can for chicken or the white can if you add sausage), and lots of garlic! Its really easy just takes a little time. Also like chilli its better the next day, but for some reason there wasn't any left over for breakfast.
O and they are on 8" wide rims, Sand Sharks are my other paddles.

Ward, your right!
Straight paddle don't turn nearly aswell as V-blades. and I'm sure its worse on the rappy cause its front end is so light.
I definatley miss my Edges sometimes, but I really like my 23" 9 paddle extremes haulers when it comes to riding the silty stuff. I never get stuck anymore, and if your a DS owner, you know how hard it is to move a stuck DS in the sand.
Thats why they make 2 different kinds I guess.

Soften up the front shocks one notch and the quad will turn much better. I use my XCT's 23" for my front sand tires and 22" Haulers on the rear. It is harder to make the turns but sodftening the front shocks help. I'll never use V paddles. I like the way my Haulers get me up and down hills, stick me to the sides of steep dunes when going across them sideways etc. V paddles are slipping and sliding in those instances. If your into throwing good roosts etc then get the V's.

V paddles are best for trail riding or just goofing off and straight paddles are for more drag racing or hill climbing. I personally have always used straight paddles and never had any probs with them and I ride anything and everything, I'll never buy V paddles...EVER.
