I am really ****, and love to have a clean bike. We always clean them as soon as we get home, and I do a lot of maintenance in between also.
I talked to the guys at our local Yamaha, and they use Furniture Polish, so have been using that to polish the plastic.
My Warrior was white so it always looked good, and I used the Renew on it so there were no scratches, but my New Banshee is Blue and the furniture polish made it look dull. I tried Armor All tonight after reading it 10 times to make sure it was okay, and man it looks great. I did my husbands Raptor (Black and White) it looks brand new.
I guess I am just wondering if any one else uses it, and if it is cool.
Also, is there any other good tricks that you use?

Armor all will collect dust with in seconds of riding. I did use Plegde furniture polish, it works good, but now I use Formula 2001 cleaner(green bottle). It really works great, and the more you rub it in the better it shines. The best part is that it doesn't collect dust, and it treats the plastic.

I use Mothers on my aluminium,and use NOTHING on my tires(just power wash them).

that stuff is great.
i dont even have to touch the quads.
just spray the hole quad and let sit for 2-4 minutes and spray off.......
it gets it all off
and it leaves the plastic with a shine

I waxed my plastic with some meguiar's car wax, lets dirt come off easier. Lots of people swear by mop n' glo so I'll try that next. I use simple green undiluted to clean grease and grime off the engine, that stuff will eat through anything (don't let it sit on there for long or it really will eat through).
I'm still developing a "ritual", since I've only had the bike a few weeks [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I use the Formula 2001 as well. Works great. I also use tire foam on the tires, and spray down anything metal, including engine, with WD-40

 

I use Plexus. It was originally disigned for aircraft use but works great on quads!

 

quadfather, wouldnt spraying wd40 on the engine make dirt stick to everthing?

 

1 time a week I clean both carbs, change oil,clean with rag and wd40,or carb on chokecleaner,somtimes I greese bearings and check bolts and nuts

 

I also use orange blast, they sell it at Wal Mart cheap and it works great!
