13 weeks sounds too long I broke the scaffiod bone in both of my wrists(seperate times) and only had a cast on for 6 weeks,actually I cut my cast off early and it was healed in six weeks.Broke my wrist last summer (3rd time)but I broke different bones,must be lucky.Only one broke wrist was result of crashing.

ClutchOlds is right about checking with chiropractor.I went couple of months ago and the chiropractor snapped my wrist back in place and it felt tons better and told me that its not good to have cast on for so long because the tendons and stuff get weak.Im no doctor but it might be good to get a second opinion.I think chiropractors have to go to school longer than doctors.

quadwarrior , sorry you got hurt. But I tried to tell people that Gorman is hel! on quads. Especially if you have some power. Its too easy to get into trouble. I am lucky I came back with only pulled muscles. But dont worry I am sure we all will pitch in and ride a little extra just for you this spring.
