Default Twist Throttle

snakes...I used to have twist-throttle on my Raptor. They are great if you are used to them or ride for long distances. I took mine off after my first MX race because I couldn't get used to the hand positioning off of jumps. I'd grab the bars on jumps, and land full throttle. Only took one eject to change my mind...LOL. I still put it on for desert races. If your comfortable with it, go for it.!!

I'd say to stay with the thumb throtle if you are unsure...most of the customers I sell twist throtles to take them back off. If you do go with one I would stay away from the quarter turn throttle(very little control on raptor), at least they are easy to change if you hate it. I had as many mishaps with the thumb as I do with twist.

Default Twist Throttle

the day I bought my Shee, I had the dealer put a motion pro twist throttle on my Shee and took it home, having ridden motocross, I really love the twist, however I found that in compairson to my friends Shee with the stock thumb throttle, his was far more reponsive and when ever I would be haulin *** over whoops or hitting unexpected jumps in the sand, my right hand would have a tendency to give it more gas while trying to hang on. You see you lose some of your grip on the quad when you have the twist on there verse the thumb in which you can hold on better and not to mention with the Shee by having a twist you have to bypass the tors system which is a system in which if you fall off the quad it will come to a stop ( LIKE A KILL SWITCH ) verse the twist ware it could get stuck and you then watch your quad ride off into the wind. Don't get me wrong I love the twist but it's not as safe or predictible as the thumb.
Its all preference, it's up to you.
