2 things...

1. What are the best all-round rear tyres to get for a Blaster, I don't want to change my rims though. I need a long lasting all-conditions tyre.

2. I have the option to have my motor ported,

2.1 What improvements will it give me?
2.2 Will it increase my fuel consumption?
2.3 Will it decrease my engine life?

I had a 98 blaster that had dirt dogs on it. they slid pretty good but got to much grip somethimes. my blaster was also ported. IT started on the 1-2 kick everythime I had it for 2 years and had no probs with it. well remeber ride smart and ride hard. I have holeshot MX rear now on my 250r I love them but I have had them a month and I already had to order 1 more to replace my flat one. I would also recomend a 20/12/8 blackwater I had them on a moto 4 220 for a long time they wear durable slide good and didn't have any flats.
