Wolv U-joints
#1
My cousin's '97 Wolverine wore out a u-joint on the drive shaft this weekend. He called the Yamaha dealership to get a price...OUCH! They wanted $90 each. That is absolutely ridiculous. So far we have been able to find them for about $40 in an ATV aftermarket magazine. Anyplace out there that might have them cheaper? Thanks.

You don't remove the yokes you remove the u-joints only. Dont forget to pop off the c clips inside the caps first then use a big c-clamp with a couple of sockets to drive the caps out. It isnt that hard its just kinda hard to get at the yokes cause there isnt a lot of room to work in there. I hope you got the new ones with grease fittings in them. They will last a lot longer.
