For utility, nothing rides & pulls like a Polaris. IMHO, since the Sportsman comes in both 400 & 500 flavors, the decision could be as simple as which Sportsman better suits your needs.

It really depends on what you are going to use it for trails utility both. For trails in nonirs I would say 450 Kodiak without a doubt. For more utility but still some trail riding the Arctic Cat 500 is very hard to beat, as long as you are not wanting to fly down the trails. If you are wanting to fast trail ride Vinson or 450 Kodiak. A new one from Bomb called the Outlander sounds very promising as well. Just go and ride them all and see what you like best for your use. What is good for one may not be the best for another.
