My buddy and I have have been looking at used Banshees for quite a while now and every one we have looked at has had a stiff clutch. Even my '98 Banshee (which is not for sale) has stiffened up. I have used the "cable luber" tool and it did little good on mine.

So, I decided to invest in a new clutch cable. It was only $12.90 at the Yamaha dealer, and after about 30 minutes R&R, I had my clutch feeling like new again. For that price, you can bet I'll be changing that cable out again in the future at the first signs of fatigue.

yep, same story on my banshee. you can use the cable luber all day and if there is grit in the cable, it wont do a bit of good. that new cable made all the difference in the world. now i wonder if that would help the sticky throttle cable....
